Bio.

Moin, I'm Lasse from Hamburg, Germany.

My journey into the creative world started in my early youth, sparked by my love for playing with LEGO and drawing. This early interest planted the idea of becoming a designer.

I've always been good at solving problems and paying close attention to what's around me. My curiosity leads me to understand how things work and to turn my ideas into real products. I'm all about making sure the user enjoys using them, paying careful attention to how they look and sweating the small details.

I think it's important to listen, making sure everyone's skills are used well to connect a strong team and transform fragile ideas into cohesive, holistic user experiences.

Led sole responsibility for full-scope client projects, from initial briefings through concept development and final presentations, contributing across a spectrum of global leaders to emerging startups.

Drove the success of over 100 iterative concept cycles, utilizing rapid CAD modeling in SolidWorks, creating sophisticated 3D visualizations in KeyShot, and crafting CMF boards to clearly articulate design visions.

Enhanced product systems through strategic UX development, swiftly prototyping user-centric concepts, and developing compelling presentation decks to effectively communicate services to clients.

LN, Industrial Designer – Co-op

March 2024 – July 2024, Cologne, Germany

Designed mobile science lab furniture for vocational schools, utilizing 50% less space than typical school furniture, enhancing collaboration and supporting the shift towards digital and individualized education.

Analyzed market opportunities and generated over 70 global concepts that initiated a joint effort with our client’s development department to overcome DFM challenges, ensuring early-stage product feasibility.

The concept was patented, selected for production and will be showcased at DIDAKTA in 2026, Germany’s largest education fair, positioning it as a concept for future educational innovations.

ABUS, Industrial Designer – Co-op

October 2023 – March 2024, Wuppertal, Germany

Initiated the development of a new branding strategy by creating an ecosystem for stationary bike locks and incorporating ABUS’s expertise to increase public trust in urban cycling environments.

Designed a mechanical, vandal-resistant bike lock to reinstate public bike security, ensuring ease of use for diverse urban populations, and presented to ABUS management, marketing, and development teams.

Coordinated a team of 10 emerging designers throughout the entire design process for our first client project. This involved establishing clear structures to foster a safe environment where ideas could sprout.

I'm taking the challenge to work around the world, to get a broad cultural design perspective.

Great teams I worked with.

Not optimised for phone just yet.

I'm sorry!
